Background

During the summer of 2009, Jefferson County Animal Control seized 16 horses, including mustangs, and one donkey from a property in Arvada, Colorado. Even though the animals suffered various degrees of neglect, most of them have recovered and have found new forever homes!

In an effort to support the shelter, Adrianne created the following portraits. All proceeds from the online silent auction were donated to Foothills Animal Shelter. The auction ended on December 1, 2010. (We're waiting to hear on the final amount raised.)
